Bio Energetic® Sleep

Increase fitness and personal success through healthy sleep. The connection between healthy, restorative sleep and increased vigour, vitality and achievement potential is proven.

Bioenergetics is a holistic body therapy in which, amongst other things, the vital functions of the body are drawn into the therapeutic work. Quality of sleep is seen as the sum of physical, spiritual, mental and energetic processes. The term Bioenergetic Sleep® was coined back in the 1980s by Günther W. Amann-Jennson, founder of SAMINA and sleep specialist. It describes the highest form of physical, spiritual and mental recuperation and restoration of vitality through sleep.

According to Prof. Dr. William C. Dement of Stanford University, one of the most renowned sleep researchers and sleep medical specialists, the health of a person is 90% dependent on healthy sleep. If you consider this in the light of the fact that around 80% of people in the industrialized nations suffer from more or less severe sleep disturbances, or no longer enjoy restorative sleep, it is clear how vital it has become to improve sleep quality. For in the different sleep stages, important physical and spiritual regeneration takes place: tissue damage is repaired, healing processes are activated, organs and cells are refuelled, and old used-up cells are replaced with new ones. Important hormones are only produced during sleep, while that which has been learnt and experienced is stored and processed in our short- and long-term memories.

For all-round restorative and regenerative sleep two vital elements are needed: first, the hardware of Bioenergetic Sleep®, that is, an appropriate sleep environment that is – thanks to SAMINA’s holistic sleeping system and the special Lokosana® sleeping overlay - free from disturbance and electrical smog. Second, the software of sleep psychology needs to be right to attain all round restorative and regenerative sleep: regular, sleep-friendly daily routines with sufficient exercise, sunlight, a balanced diet and regular relaxation times are all important in the quest for the physical and spiritual readiness to sleep well.
